Bzzz, Bzzz, Bzzz. I stretched, and looked down at my phone, my phone was lighting up with messages from Colin. I yawned and rolled out of my bed. I grabbed a tank top from my drawer and walked into the bathroom. After I was done, I found my mom and said, “Good Morning.” She responded and asked me what I wanted for breakfast. I told her that I wanted Egg-on-Bread. My mom makes this for me a lot, and it is very tasty. What she does is takes bread, cuts a hole in the middle, pours the egg in it, and lets it cook. Once it is almost done, she puts cheese on the outside, as a cover for the egg. She placed two of them on my plate, and I started to eat. I cut off the bread edges, so there was just the outline of the cheese insight. I sliced right through the middle, and watched as the orange liquid for the egg dripped out onto what was a clean white plate. I ate the first one, and then began to eat the second. Once I finished, the remaining orange liquid sat on a plate asking to be eaten. I grabbed the inner part of the holes and used them as a sponge, to soak up the liquid. The bread tasting amazing, and then I began to look for my mom.
I went into the study to look for her, but she was on the phone. As I was walking, Colin asked me if I could play Xbox with him. I decided to write a note, and ask my mom to reply with a thumbs up, or a thumbs down. She gave me a thumbs up, and I went downstairs, and turned on the Xbox. I sat in the recliner, and began to recline. I grabbed the controller, went to friends, and joined Colin's party. I told him I had to go at around one, but I still had a little time to play. The time went by fast, and by one, I walked upstairs and made myself lunch as I waited for my friend to come over. My friend, Milind, was caught up in homework, and texted me that he could not come until 1:30. I was fine with this, because it gave me time to eat. I heated up one of my favorite things, buffalo chicken dip. I grabbed the Tostitos, and turned on the television. I had just finished the dip, when I heard a knocking on the door.
Milind was here, and we first decided to go outside and play football. I had not seen Milind since the summer, so it was fun to talk to him. We exchanged stories about football, and how the LS freshman were doing. We then went on to talk about what we were doing in school and found that we were doing similar subjects. After talking about the classes, we talked about the school lunches. After my long rant, we began to get hungry. We decided to go in, and have something to eat. I grabbed goldfish, and he grabbed cookies, and we went downstairs and watched a little T.V. By the time we finished watching SportsNation, it was around seven, and we decided that it was time for him to go. We found my brother, and took the two minute drive to his house, dropped him off, and then came back. The day wrapped up nicely with a chicken dinner. I did not do much more, but I was glad that I got to see Milind. I realized that it is important to see your old friends.
