It would be one month until I went back. I looked at cabin 3 as I realized that I would be away from technology and my normal life for one month. Camp Moosilauke sounded fun, but I was nervous that no one I knew was there. I walked down the hill to the vast sports fields, and the beautiful clear lake. I knew this would be a very different month. The weeks went on and my life had changed. Bike rides, hikes and tubing, three things I never normally got to, but I actually enjoyed. I also got a lot of free time where I played basketball, baseball and did a lot of paddle boarding. I had never paddle boarded before, but I loved it as soon as I started. The camp life was very different as well, with a lot of activities that filled up the day. Usually when I am home I get bored, but this camp never had me bored. Since I do not live near a lake, mountain or a very good spot to bike, Camp was the perfect place to do the biking, hiking, and tubing. We went on long bike rides to little ponds, hikes up tall mountains, and tubing all around the lake. Even though I did not have any technology, Camp Moosilauke is a place that I will never forget, and it definitely changed me as a man.
