The red jersey of the strong opponent,
The game we always wanted to play in,
The rival we always dreamed of playing.
The game began with a big booming kick,
Across the field and down to the end zone,
He grabbed the ball and began to run out,
He juked the silly looking defender
He raced across the right side of the field,
The next blue defender began to come,
He had the perfect angle for a hit,
He lowered his shoulder into the chest
I picked up the rolling ball from the ground,
Fifty more yards to run to the end zone,
There was one defender in front of me,
I lowered my shoulder, and he fell down.
Touchdown! Touchdown! Touchdown! Touchdown! Touchdown!
The return man walked back to his sideline,
His coach was already yelling at him,
Should've just kneed the ball in the end zone.
