~Bernard M. Baruch
Throughout the rest of the class, everyone talked at least once. It was an extremely fascinating conversation, as we talked about the accessibility to resources needed for health, and how places over the world compensate for what there are missing. The talk went on for almost the whole class, before Mrs. Hernandez-Skayne had to end the conversation so she could tell us the homework. Afterwards, we all realized how important it was to express our opinions, and not be worried about what other people think of your opinions. We all were excited for our next socratic seminar which was held a couple weeks afterward. Throughout the year, every student in the class has become more confident with speaking, and now we all can talk in our socratic seminars with minimum help. We learned that being yourself, and not worrying about what other people think really helps you improve and learn.
As I leave Fenn, I reflect on what guided me down my journey at Fenn. I realized that the words that built my successful time here were take risks, and most importantly, be yourself.
